who we are

Let’s start out with who we ARE NOT:

– We are not Bible thumpers. Do we believe in the Bible? Absolutely. But no thumping.
– We are not “fire and brimstoners”. No fire. No brimstone. Does anyone really know what a brimstone is? We will tell it like it is, according to God, in a very practical, current and relevant way.

We don’t care what you wear (although you DO need to wear clothing to church!).
We don’t care how old you are.
We don’t care where you are from.
We don’t care what color, race, gender or orientation you are.
We don’t care about your criminal record (but our church is a “no crime” zone).
We don’t care what your politics are.
We don’t care about your bank balance.
None of us are perfect.

Now, who we ARE:

Instead of going into a long explanation of who we are and what we believe, with the appropriate Bible references, of course, here’s what we want you to know right now.

We believe in the Bible – all of it.
We believe in one God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.
We believe in God’s sacrifice of his only son, Jesus Christ, on the cross to save us all.
The foundations we stand on at our church are simple:

Love God and love others.

Try to live according to the Bible verse in Micah 6:8 – “The Lord has told you what He wants from you, to do what is right and to love being kind to others and live humbly, obeying your God.”

Always try to “Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can.” – John Wesley, Pastor, Theologian, Author
